It has been said that the type of music one will admire most is that which was released in the decade between one's ages of 9-19. I was 9 years old in 1980 and I was 19 years old in 1990. Therefore the aforementioned holds true for me as my preferred taste in music is 1980's alternative or "new wave" music. I have compiled a list of my top 10 1980's alternative music songs as follows:
